Betty established her financial practice with Sapient Financial Group in 2008. Prior to joining Sapient's team of investment, insurance and annuity specialists, Betty worked with New York Life Insurance Company, where she provided executives, business owners and individuals solutions for their complex financial and insurance needs. She looks forward to providing the same level of service for her clients at Sapient.

Betty's background is in Human Resources. Prior to entering the financial services profession, she held positions at several software companies in Northern California as Director of Human Resources, where she developed and implemented global HR strategies, and managed and provided leadership for a high-performance team of HR professionals in several states.

Betty holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix in San Jose, California. She is an active member of the San Antonio Human Resources Management Association (SAHRMA), and is a volunteer for AARP. A San Antonio native, Betty has two sons and six grandchildren. She keeps her schedule full with family get-togethers, and loves watching sports, particularly football and golf.
