Hershel S. Meriwether II, ChFC began his career in financial services in 1989. Mr. Meriwether's professional practice is devoted to advising professionals, business owners, executives and others on their comprehensive financial planning. Working with other advisors and specialists, he helps his clients implement appropriate and cost-effective investment and insurance programs and related wealth management and estate preservation strategies. He also advises business owners on the design and implementation of qualified retirement plans and executive benefit programs.

Prior to beginning his financial planning practice, Mr. Meriwether served on the executive staff of the Governor of Texas and the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and worked as a consultant/advisor to public officials on various budget and fiscal policy matters.

Mr. Meriwether is married to Tina, his wife of 23 years, with whom he has two daughters, ages nineteen and fourteen. He has lived in Austin for thirty years and is active in community and professional organizations.
