Jay Moyer is completing his third year as Sales Manager with The Sapient Financial Group in San Antonio, TX. He has been a leader in the San Antonio financial services community for 15 years. A native of Pennsylvania, he spent most of his secondary school years in Canton, Ohio. He earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees from The Ohio State University, and served 10 years as a high school band director in Columbus, Ohio.

His career in the insurance and financial services industry began as an agent with Nationwide Insurance. He also served as a corporate sales trainer, and was promoted to District Manager of the San Antonio market in 1991. During his 7- year tenure the district expanded from 6 to 14 agency offices producing $40 million in annual premium. Jay also has sales management experience with industry leaders such as New York Life and Jefferson Pilot Financial.

Jay's strengths include recruiting, production and training. He has recruited over 50 producers into the industry, and has helped several become company leaders. He has been a teacher and trainer for 28 years, as well as a successful producer in both the multi-line and financial services markets.
