Sara brings a wealth of experience, having been in the financial services business for over twenty years. She has served as agent, sales manager, and managing partner. For the decade prior to co-founding Asset Strategies Group, LLC, Sara had been a senior executive for a major insurance and financial services company. She received her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1991.

Sara currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Austin Chapter of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA). She has also been an active member, serving in leadership roles for the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP) since 1991.

Sara cherishes her status as a sixth-generation Texan, her activities in the community, and her strong family ties. She is currently the Vice President of Club Service for the Rotary Club of Austin, as well as serving on a number of community and foundation Boards including IMPACT Austin, where she co-chairs the Investment Strategies Committee. Other important memberships include the eWomen Network, the Austin Women’s Chamber of Commerce, and the Executive Women`s Golf Association-Austin, all highlighting her passion helping women cross the finish line financially successful. An active member at Tarrytown United Methodist Church, she and husband Mike are delighted to be at home in Austin to enjoy grown children and grandchildren.
